Little do they know, there’s trouble on the horizon. Now that Julia Mitchell (Melanie Zanetti) and Professor Gabriel Emerson (Giulio Berruti) are officially a couple, it’s the start of their life together. Gabriel’s Rapture Part 1 debuted on the romance streaming service slightly ahead of the planned November 24 release date, making for a nice surprise for fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next installment of the story. The litmus test of success for the latest Passionflix release is how closely the movie follows author Sylvain Reynard’s book, and let’s just say it’s marvelous. While Marvel Studios and Sony are trying to desperately protect Spider-Man: No Way Home against leaks that could spoil the film for legions of fans, Gabriel’s Rapture is virtually spoiler-proof.
